SOA Developer with .NET experience

Position Type: Contract or Full Time

Location: Westport, CT

Position description: The successful candidate will be the key team member responsible for developing Website and service interface to a series of data sources, the service being consumed by web developers, mobile developers and others. Other responsibilities include documenting object classes in UML. The solution will support a multi-billion dollar business with thousands of users throughout North America.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years experience developing with Microsoft technology stack, especially .NET 3.5 and 4.0
• Designer/developer with 3+ years solid experience with ASP.NET web application using C#
• Designer/developer with 1+ years solid experience with WCF
• Experience documenting object classes in UML
• Experience with REST or other Atom-based protocols (e.g. RSS) is preferred; SOAP expertise may suffice
• Experience in MDM or Data Warehousing is preferred; SOA expertise may suffice
• Skilled communicator with business unit leaders AND technologists
• Must be experienced in forward engineering or model-driven development
• Must be able to communicate with the team at a design level
