Ken Zimmerman Leads Big Data Discussion at CIO Event

"The World Café," an IT roundtable event presented by Fairfield/Westchester Chapter of the Society for Information Management (FWSIM), took place on Thursday, June 21, at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, CT. Chateaux Principal and Senior Business Intelligence Architect, Ken Zimmerman, facilitated discussions for over 60 CIOs and IT Executives in attendance.

The evening event addressed current and emerging technologies with discussions led by experts in various fields including cloud computing, mobility, and social media. As a facilitator, Ken led multiple group discussions on the topics of Big Data and Business Analytics along with fellow SIM member and CIO of GE Capital, Sigal Zarmi. During the session, Ken discussed the operational challenges associated with Big Data, how to mitigate potential issues, and how to utilize this volume of information to your company's advantage.
