1985. That was the year we incorporated, but it wasn't the first year we were in business. That was 1984. At that time, we really weren't looking at any particular industry, but rather how we could use great technology to change the way people solved their business problems. We created solutions with vendors including Oracle, Progress Software, Business Objects, IBM, Informatica and Microsoft. Dozens more asked us to partner with us, but we maintained a skeptical eye.

Equally instructive and interesting were the many industries that we worked in. But as time passed we realized that the Wild West of technology consulting would soon become a mature discipline that required coherent strategy and execution. We understood that in trying to please everyone we please no one. And so, after careful consideration, we arrived at a core set of industries in which we could add real value through our extensive experience and expertise.
