When Chateaux was founded in 1985, our business plan did not revolve around catering to any particular industry, but rather how we could use great technology to change the way people solved their business problems. We created solutions with vendors including Oracle, Progress Software, Business Objects, IBM, Informatica and Microsoft. Over the years, dozens more have asked to partner with us, but we maintained a skeptical eye.
Equally instructive and interesting were the many industries that we worked in. As time passed however, we realized that the Wild West of technology consulting would soon become a mature discipline that required coherent strategy and execution. We understood that in trying to please everyone, we please no one.
